IHG Journey to Tomorrow
Sustainability is vital to our business and an integral part of our corporate strategy. All our employees also participate in it. To guide our activities as a sustainable company and our goals for people, communities and our planet, IHG created the Journey to Tomorrow program as a 10-year action plan.
Together with those who stay and work in our hotels and our partners, we help shape the future of sustainable travel, ensuring that we achieve our goal – True Hospitality for Good.
Greener Stay
You can be involved in making a change. Help save water and energy.
Guests staying two or more nights at our Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo and Holiday Inn hotels in Finland can now choose a ‘greener visit’. Normally, the housekeeping of our hotels does cleaning for all continuing rooms. By choosing the Greener Stay program, guests communicate that there is no need to do cleaning in the room. In this way, guests can influence and reduce the amount of laundry and thus help save water and energy. As a thank you for supporting responsible tourism, the hotel grants guests 500 IHG One Rewards points per night.
Guests can participate in the program at any time during their stay (of two consecutive nights or longer) by setting a Greener Stay hanger on their hotel room door. To take advantage of the program, the guest must be a member of the IHG ® One Rewards loyalty program. Joining the loyalty program is free (join at IHG.com/enrolnow).
Our reception team will be happy to provide more information about the programs.
